Bentley is founder of infamous Sydney party Dust Tones and part of Percussion Junction. Since 1999 he has been supporting local & international music through nights such as Drop, Wasabi, Vindaloops and Dust Tones.

With guest appearances and support slots with the likes of Thievery Corporation, Talvin Singh, Fat Freddy’s Drop, Camille, The Nextmen, Salmonella Dub, Bassnectar, Krafty Kuts, DJ Yoda, Tom Middleton, Nickodemus, Fort Knox Five, Mo Horizons, Tiki Taane, Sola Rosa, Electric Empire, All Good Funk Alliance, Fatlip, Mark Rae & Mad Professor. Plus locals such as The Presets, The Herd, Urthboy, Horrowshow, Opiou, Ash Grunwald, Sonic Animation, Katalyst, Hermitude, Dexter, Ajax, The Bird & Blue Juice, bentley has carved a international reputation.

Highlights included Subsonic festival, Becks Festival Bar, Days Like This, Playground Weekender, Smirnoff Experience, Falls Festival, Sydney Festival, Earthdance, Surry Hills Festival, Extreme Games @ Entertainment Centre, Newtown Festival and a tour of regional NSW for Amnesty International. bentley has also featured on JJJ Mix Up & The Club plus FBI radio and hosted Electroplastique on 2ser with Deepchild for 5 years.

Having played across Australia from Brisbane to Melbourne, Perth, Hobart, Adelaide and his home town of Sydney where he has featured at some of Australia’s leading clubs and venues including Home, The World Bar, The Globe, The Art House, The Loft, Cargo, The Metro, The Forum, The State Theater & Martin Place.

It doesn’t seem to matter where he plays – Bentley’s ability to read a crowd and deliver a dance floor friendly set is always evident. With one set never the same Bentley refuses to be pigeonholed into any one genre. Crossing everything from Beats to House, Global to Funk, hip hop to dancehall, drum n bass to reggae, Soul to Jazz to disco to Dub, as long as its quality, Bentley can be found playing it.
