Born in the ancient city of Mancunium, only to be stolen and raised by Ligers that danced around camp fires in a pre-historic metropolis. Yemi The Cat created a pseudonym XS.if (to continue to excessively protect the identity and location of his preaks). With the support of the feline race he ventured out to seek his melodious future, time travelling back and forth and stumbling across ancient methods of sounds in the form of vinyls in a number of places including, in the settlement of Snot’s people and Londinium. XS.if is known for using these ancient methods of sounds to tell hip hop, breaks, funk & soul stories and also to rewrite history though Afrobeats, Latin, Nu-Jazz, Nu-Disco and Electro-Swing, as a contribution of his kind to civilisation and a means of keeping the party alive.
